The role of the Compensation Committee is to set appropriate pay programs that are in the Company’s best interests in harmony with its business mission and strategies. The key function of the Compensation Committee is to make sure that we get best executive talent for a reasonable price. With the adoption of the executive and director compensation disclosure rules by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”), changes to the accounting for certain equity awards, and our commitment to corporate transparency, the Compensation Committee is working to meet the requirements and protect the interests of our stockholders.
